Description: On Wednesday 27 January 2010 as part of the ‘1001 Inventions’ exhibition at the Science Musuem celebrating the contributions of the Muslim world to Science, Silk Roads is proud to be programming workshops and performances for the museum’s popular monthly ‘Science Museum Lates’.
Performances include music from Al Farabi Ensemble, Arabic folkloric dance, ’silat’ martial arts demonstration, while workshops include dabka dance, sacred geometry, weaving, and Sufi frame-drumming.
While admission is free, please note there is an adults-only policy for this evening.
